The latest Perini Navi/Ron Holland Design collaboration is for two 60 metre performance cruising yachts, one a ketch and one a sloop. Both are currently under construction. The sloop will carry the second highest mast set height (the mast height record at 90 metres is presently held by the 74m Ron Holland designed sloop Mirabella V).

World Superyacht Awards finalist Karia to make her debut in Istanbul

Karia, the latest Motor Yacht design concept from Ron Holland Design, has been granted the distinct honour of being selected as a finalist in her category for the World Superyacht Awards, the prize giving for which will be held in the spectacular setting of the Ciragem Palace, Istanbul on 5 May 2012.

Built by RMK Marine, Turkey, Karia immediately conveys the assiduous attention to detail, innovative thinking and quality of execution that are the hallmarks of the Ron Holland Design team.

Karia was conceived and designed as a luxurious yet highly economical and seaworthy yacht for long range cruising in comfort and style.

m5 arrives in Pendennis for major refit programme

m5 (ex- Mirabella V) recently arrived in Falmouth for a major refit programme. The work will be carried out at the Pendennis Plus shipyard in the UK. The refit will see the removal of her 90m mast for rigging upgrade, a 3m stern extension, a new side boarding platform, together with a full internal upgrade. The project is expected to take 12 months to complete.
