The brief was to design a contemporary, luxurious environment with a hint of the East.
Handpicked Macassar ebony with contrasting walnut, and limed oak with polished metal accents transforms the woodwork into a strong feature in the main saloon. This is complemented by the clean lines and neutral colours of the furniture, fabrics and accessories, with effective touches of gold and red. Large windows provide a bright environment with panoramic views by day. For evening, the clever use of recessed lighting, mirrors and an arrangement of lamps offers a maximum variety of ambiances.
The Macassar ebony is also used in the owner's stateroom. Clever use of lighting and mirrors with accent colours of gold and red make this a haven of opulence.
The owner's spacious bathroom features both a bath and a walk-in steam shower. Beautiful limestone walls contrast with Nero Portero marble floors. The oriental style vanity unit is a stunning feature piece.
The Asian influence continues in the guest suites, featuring light limed oak and plain fabrics and creating a soothing neutral base.
