Ron Holland Design has a highly successful relationship with Perini Navi, having collaborated on a range of Limited Edition yachts from 131ft / 40m to 184ft / 56m and there are two 60m sailing yachts currently in build. No less than ten Perini Navi/ Ron Holland Design 56ms have been built to date.
The success of this formula is evidenced by the many awards that these yachts have received.
In 2006 Parsifal III was recognised at the World Superyacht Awards 2006 Boat International Group as "Superyacht of the Year - Sail",
"Best Interior Design" and winner in the category "Sailing Yacht, 51 metres and above."
Parsifal III also triumphed in the Showboats International Awards 2006 as "Best Interior Design" and "Best Overall Yacht."
Selene won the 2008 Show Boats Award for "Best Sailing Yacht Interior" and the 2008 Boat International World Superyacht Award for:
"Best Sailing Yacht Interior"
In 2008, Salute was recognized in the Superyacht Society Awards for "Best Yacht Interior". Salute also won the 2009 Boat International World Superyacht Awards for "Best Sailing Yacht in the 45m+ Size"
In 2010, Panthalassa was awarded the renowned Prix du Design at the Monaco Yacht Show
The 56m aluminium ketch Riela, launched in 2009, won 3 major awards for her successful combination of excellence in build, elegant lines and her high level of comfort and liveability, including the quality and execution of the interior furnishings. In 2010 Riela was given The Robb Report "Best of the Best" award and the Boat International World Superyacht Award for "Best Sailing Yacht in the 45 Metre+ size" category. Riela also received the 2010 Show Boats Design Awards "Interior Design Award - Sailing Yachts" for an outstanding interior design.
Limited Edition yachts offer the advantages of reduced build time and cost, a proven engineering platform, and the reassurance that the concept has been tried and tested at sea. The owner retains considerable flexibility of choice over details of the accommodation, styling and finishes.
