		Ron Holland is delighted to hear that Jean-Yves Chateau’s Nicholson 33 Iromiguy was overall winner of the 2005 Rolex Fastnet Race – exactly 30 years after another Nicholson 33, Golden Delicious raced by Peter Nicholson, won the race.

		The 109 ft. Avalon (ex Gleam), built by Southern Pacific, won the second race to finish first overall in the big yacht class. Volare, a 73 ft. self-tacking sloop built by Sensation Yachts as one of the Golden Opus series, was the winner of the first race and overall winner of the small yacht class.
